When it comes to indoor cultivation, the most important tools are LED lamps. LED lamps, i.e. artificial lights that have a spectrum that can be changed depending on the stage the plant is in.
LEDs provide an abundant yield, but above all a considerable energy saving of about 70% compared to HID bulbs.
Here are some of the reasons for these savings:
- LEDs need little energy to radiate light.
- They don't need reflectors to concentrate light in exact spots.
- They have about 60,000 hours of autonomy.
- They produce little heat, so we don't have to worry about ventilating the greenhouse or grow box.
