Do you know the difference between CBD and THC?
Let's get some clarity by analyzing their properties.
CBD stands for cannabidiol, a substance that offers multiple benefits and is a viable alternative against inflammation, anxiety, pain and insomnia. Some studies even claim that, CBD would reduce cancer cells.
THC, or tetrahydrocannabidiol is the substance that produces psychotropic effects.
It is considered a "soft" drug because it is addictive and if consumed in large quantities causes risks to the body, as well as causing paranoia and anxiety.
THC is estimated as psychoactive because it easily binds to CB1 receptors present in the central nervous system, unlike CBD which has a very low affinity.
